U53 German made circa 1880 - 1900 Toy Horse is wooden,  with hide covering in a palomino shade of hair with white mane and tail. Muzzle is exposed wood painted brown, with black painted wooden hooves. The horse retains it's original leather bridle that is fastened to the head with the original brass tacks. Eyes appear to be painted brass tacks. Superior quality and condition with only minor wear to the paint on the muzzle. Measures 11" high from floor to top of head and 11" long. Outstanding and pristine example of the early collectible toy.
