**SOLD** J40 Majestic large sized 19th century hollow-bodied copper Eagle weathervane. This depiction of an eagle with outstretched wings perched atop a ball shows excellent hand-hammered details throughout. Wonderful, weathered patina with remnants of original gold gild surface with areas of verdigris. Nicely mounted on a wooden base for display purposes.
Measurements: ~37 ½” wingspan. Mounted height is ~33” tall.
