K1873 19th century New England pantry box in original dry, gray paint with opposing single finger laps on both body and lid. Steamed and bentwood sides and rim are secured to top and bottom of box with tiny wooden pegs and miniature tacks.
Dark patina on interior consistent with age and use.
Measurements: 7 7/8" diameter (top) x 3 ¼” tall.
