L268 18th century Pewter ink well fitted with six quill holes and hinged lid covering the area where a removeable porcelain insert ink pot would sit (missing). Flared rim with tapered sides boasting decorative incised rings above and below a raised embossed center ring. Circa 1780s – 1800.
Measurements: 3 7/8” diameter x 2 5/8” tall.
