L435A Pair of matching late 18th century to early 19th century single-candle sconces with deeply fluted candle cups. The rolled tin / sheet metal construction features rounded tops, punched wriggle-work designs and rolled edges on the backs. Most American homes were lit with simple candle sconces such as these. This pair of New England Sconces have the best, uncleaned surface and remain in good original condition.
Each sconce measures ~4 ½” wide x ~3 ½” deep x ~10 3/8” tall.
