L450 Pair of Lt. Moses Willard stoneware table lamps with designs from 1805 plates by Potter Artist John Neis (1785-1867) featuring an Officer and horse during a charge in battle. Original plates can be viewed at the American Folk Art Museum in New York. One lamp was made by Cathy Gatch and dated 1990, the other lamp was done by Chris Woods and dated 1994. Each lamp is constructed of very heavy stoneware and has a wooden cap and wooden base. (Shades and finials are included with sale.) The base portion of one lamp measures 11 ½” tall, while the other measures 11 ¾” tall.
