L507 19th century Pennsylvania slide lid Box in its original dry-green painted surface with the initials “H. L. A.” and the date “1862” painted in white on the front. A carved finger notch in the front edge of the lid allows easy opening of the smoothly sliding lid – which opens to reveal a clean, natural patina interior. The wood is pine with square head nail construction.
Measurements: 16” wide x 11 ½” deep x 11 ¾” tall.
