M1110 19th century turned wooden Mortar and Pestle retaining original dry blue painted surface. Simple turned shape with tapered base and fantastic wear indicative of age and use. Natural patina interior. The long and unusually shaped pestle has incised rings around the handle and retains remnants of the original blue surface.
Mortar measures: ~5 ⅞” top diameter x ~5 ⅜” bottom diameter x ~ 7 ⅝” tall. Pestle is 11 ½” long.
