M172 Late 19th century Noodle board, found in Pennsylvania. These were sometimes referred to as a Dough Board, as these boards were used for multiple purposes such as on a kitchen counter for rolling out dough. A gallery is attached with early wire nails. The tapered edge gallery, as well as the bottom, bears the original red painted surface. Beautiful patina with nice wear – indicative of age and use. Circa 1860s – 1880s.
Measurements: 27 ¼” wide x 22 ¾” deep x 2 ¾” tall.
