M193 Mid-20th century Folk Art Painting depicting a theatrical setting featuring a Circus performer dressed as a Jester / Pierrot / Harlequin character wearing a blue body suit with bright yellow stars and a white ruffle collar while balancing on an orange-colored ball while a small dog wearing a matching white ruffle collar and yellow conical shaped party hat adoringly watches. Signed by artist on lower left side “A. Glazier”. Painted on a “12 point Goudy Bold” type-set tray. Arthur Glazier (1928-2015) was from East Berlin, Pennsylvania and was famous for these folk-art style paintings on type-set trays, bread boards and other antique items.
