M225 19th century Pennsylvania cobalt blue decorated salt glazed stoneware Butter Crock – attributed to Remmey (Philadelphia). Nice, small size – featuring a cylindrical body with a thick squared rim with incised rings and tooled applied lug handles. Hand brushed cobalt leaves decorate front and back with the handles on each side also swathed in cobalt blue. Visible hairlines.
Measurements: 7 ¼” – 7 ½” diameter x 7 ¾” tall.
