**SOLD** M26 Late 18th century Maryland blanket chest bearing original red paint with applied bracket base bearing original black painted surface and cut out feet. The initials “J.C” are painted inside the lid. Pine, six board construction with a combination of “T” nails and rosehead nails and applied, hand planed molding around the lid. Clean, natural patina interior. Circa 1790s-1800.
