M27 Late 19th century New England hand woven splint Gathering Basket with steamed and bent handle that is woven into the basket and a single wrapped, double rim. Nice, natural patina surface with evidence of a few minor imperfections.
Measurements: 14 ½” x 10” oval (top) x ~4” x 9 ½” rectangular bottom. The sides are ~7” – 7 ¼” tall, depending on where measured. Overall height with handle is ~11” tall.
