M28 Very sturdy, late 19th century to early 20th century, New England Apple Basket bearing original red and black paint. Basket features cross woven slat sides with a solid wooden bottom and a double top rim. Top and bottom rims feature overlapping fingers secured with tacks. The handle is constructed of two steamed and bent slats secured together with tiny tacks.
Measurements: 12” top diameter x 9” bottom diameter x 8” tall sides x ~15 ¼” tall including handle.
The handle is 1 1/8” wide x ~ ¼” thick.
