M290 Early 19th century framed handwritten Steam Boat Ledger for Ham Deliveries – Dated 1831. This original document indicates the names and 14 individual delivery addresses for a total of 108 hams in all. A note at the bottom instructs the delivery person to leave the bills with the hams at each location and is signed and dated “Wm Black Jr – Apr 19 1831”. The reverse has an open area in the matting so the handwritten address can be viewed.
It reads: “Mr. John Miers – Philadelphia Steam Boat – with 108 hams”.
Framed measurements: 17 3/8” wide x 1” thick x 22 3/8” tall.
