**SOLD** M55 Exceptional early to mid-19th century Pennsylvania Child's Blanket Chest retaining its original blue painted surface adorned with hand painted Pennsylvania Dutch motif decorations including hearts and birds. The wood is pine, six-board dovetailed construction case with applied molding around the lid and an applied bracket base with wonderful cut out feet. Clean, natural patina interior with lidded till. Identified on back (partially illegible) “…..Lancaster Pa”.
Measurements: 28 ¾” wide x 14 ½” deep x 17 ½” tall.
