M83 Stunning miniature landscape painting depicting a tranquil stream in a wooded area with soft foliage colors with extremely impressive reflection details. Appears to be hand painted oil on porcelain in a very ornate miniature gold gild frame that is encased in a black painted wooden shadowbox frame. Circa 1880s.
Shadowbox measures 9 5/8” wide x 7 ¾” tall x 2” deep. Oval painting area measures 3” wide x 2 ¼” tall.
