This pair of Tramp Art picture frames was found in North carolina. They are four sections deep, and painted a light brown color .  The opening measurement for each frame is 9 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches; the outside dimensions including the extensions are 13 x 10  inches.  A wonderful addition to any folk art collection!

N15 This original blue painted wood and Tin  candle Lantern is all original found in a personal collection of 18th century lighting . Three of the sides of the Lantern is stationary and one side of the glass is one  pieces so that it can be raised to place a candle inside. The glass is old and waive, the paint is showing great wear to it, and it has never been over painted. The top of the Lantern is very unique, having a tin hand punched top, for ventilation, held in place with early, hand made  tacks. I would date this Lantern to date 1800. It is as found condition, it has not been washed or oiled or waxed,measurements are: 8" wide x8"' deep x 12 1/4" tall

T109 This is a very nice two tier tramp art box with a style and construction which is different than most. The top which opens to reveal a storage area. It is constructed from shipping crates, pine for the top layers and structure,  It is finished in  the original red paint. The box was likely made c. 1920-1940 and,  is in excellent condition.12 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 8"

The construction of this Chest is dovetailed case with a beautifully applied base, ogee molding on top of base, the lid has a nice molded edge on all four sides. The Chest is all walnut with the exception of the bottom board which is poplar. Measurements are 19 3/4" wide x 12" tall x 11" deep

George Lockard 1866-1931 Elk Neck, Cecil County, MD (circa late 1800's)   George and Henry Lockard were brothers who were both born just after  the Civil war and lived on Elk neck at a place called Mountain shore.  The brothers gunned out of sinkboxes at the mouth of the Northeast river near Cara Cove.
